The Adirondack Great Camp Santanoni in Newcomb, New York has always been a special place for my family. For decades we have walked, skied, biked the peaceful path back to this stunning place of architecture and history. FIrst stop when my kids were young was the porch of the stone milkhouse, looking toward the cedar shake barn. The barn burned years ago. I’m so glad I was able to sit, paint, and create while the barn was still standing.
